A gymnast from the club was named runner-up in Spain in the 2014 children's category, standing out among a total of 171 participants. Her ribbon routine, executed with great precision, earned her a well-deserved second place in a high-level competition.
This result culminates a brilliant season for the young gymnast, who has shown remarkable confidence and consistency throughout the season, especially noteworthy given her young age of only 11 years.

Alongside her, her teammates also participated, performing excellent work and contributing to the club's strong showing in the championship. One of the teammates came very close to obtaining a national diploma, an acknowledgment reserved for the top eight qualifiers.

The Spanish Rhythmic Gymnastics Base Championship brought together hundreds of gymnasts from all over the country for six days, establishing itself as one of the main events on the national calendar for formative categories. The high participation and the level shown in the different apparatus highlighted the demanding nature of a competition where merely qualifying is an achievement, and every detail is decisive for reaching the podium. In this context, the medal achieved reinforces the growth of the Mungia club and confirms its presence among the prominent entities in base rhythmic gymnastics at the national level.
