The San Millán Town Council, governed by EH Bildu, has approved financial aid to support births, adoptions, or foster care arrangements for children in the area, with the goal of fostering generational replacement in its 15 villages.

This measure addresses the dispersed population of the San Millán municipality, which has fewer than 750 inhabitants. The clear objective of these grants is to encourage generational replacement across the 15 localities that make up the municipal area.
Mothers, fathers, legal guardians, and foster families who have been continuously registered and residing in the municipality for two years prior to the birth or adoption will be eligible for these grants. Additionally, the applicant and the child must maintain their registration for at least two years after the birth or adoption.

"The purpose of the aid is to foster generational replacement in the 15 villages that make up the municipality."

The amount to be received for each birth, adoption, or foster care arrangement will be 600 euros. A budget of 1,000 euros has been allocated for this purpose, covering cases that occur between January 1 and December 31, 2025, provided all established general requirements and conditions are met.
Applications and necessary documentation must be submitted to the San Millán town hall from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 14:00 hours, before July 15.
