The Llanada Alavesa is preparing for one of its most traditional sporting events on Sunday, May 31, 2026: the XIX Dulantzi-Ruta de las 6 ermitas BTT March.

Organized by the Ronzapil Elkartea Association, this non-competitive event seeks to merge mountain sports with the heritage and characteristic landscapes surrounding Alegría-Dulantzi. The event will gather up to 300 cyclists in the Herriko plaza, who will complete a route connecting six emblematic religious sites, highlighting the Alavese rural environment.
To ensure inclusivity and cater to all fitness levels, three routes have been designed: a short 30-kilometer route linking four hermitages, suitable for families; a medium 42-kilometer route passing five hermitages with 1,100 meters of positive elevation gain; and a long 50-kilometer route covering all six hermitages with 1,500 meters of accumulated elevation gain, intended for more technical challenges.
The official start is scheduled for 9:30 AM from the main square. Participants must collect their bib numbers there, receiving refreshment supplies and a gift from the organizers. Although the march fosters camaraderie without competitive timing, safety is paramount: helmet use is mandatory, and a federation license is recommended.
The maximum capacity is 300 participants. Registration, costing a general fee of 15 euros, can be completed via the Kirolprobak platform and will remain open until Wednesday, May 27th at 12:00 PM, or until all spots are filled.
