The Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Álava (UAGA) has warned that the Solaria Zierbena photovoltaic project would reach 1,470 megawatts, fourteen times the capacity planned in the 3E2030 strategy.

According to the organization, the plan promoted by Solaria includes 29 solar plants. Of these, 26 have already been submitted for public information, covering a total area of approximately 2,000 hectares.
UAGA highlights that the project conflicts with the Euskadi Energy Strategy (3E2030), which sets a target of 105 megawatts for grid generation by 2030, far below the developer's proposal.
Regarding the administrative status, 24 facilities are currently being processed, three are awaiting public exposure, and two have been dismissed. The company has filed 22 administrative litigation appeals against the Basque Government over permit expiration issues.
