The Sestao City Council, as the main landowner, along with several real estate developers and private individuals, met this Monday, June 15th, for the Txikito Bidea Conservation Board. Decisions were made that represent progress for the urban development of this strategic area.
The board has awarded the drafting of the urbanization project to the company TYPSA for 549,023 euros plus VAT. This document will technically define the works necessary to equip the sector with the infrastructure, urban services, and conditions required for its future development.
Furthermore, the drafting of the replotting project has also been awarded. This tool will organize the distribution of the resulting plots, ensuring that rights and obligations are equitably shared among the landowners.
Additionally, the contract for clearing and removing vegetation in the area has been approved. This action will improve the current conditions of the land and facilitate the preparatory work before the project's execution.
“"Txikito Bidea is an area that will transform Sestao in the coming years. Today we have taken an important step, as the project is moving forward with concrete decisions, real awards, and serious planning."
Gorka Álvarez, the Mayor of Sestao, has positively assessed the decisions. "The award of the urbanization project is a fundamental milestone, as it allows us to move forward with the procedures, bringing us closer to the transformation of this space," he stated. The mayor added that this development will organize and transform a strategic area of the municipality, creating new residential opportunities and improving the urban environment.
