The Ertzaintza has arrested two women, aged 22 and 25, accused of robbing three homes last April, two in Getxo and one in Plentzia, after they were located in a hotel in Sondika.

The arrested individuals, of European origin, were apprehended on Monday after being found in a hotel located in Sondika. Among their belongings, various tools were found, including three screwdrivers and a monkey wrench.
Additionally, scissors, a flashlight, tweezers, a marker, and two cut plastic pieces were also seized from them, presumably used for opening access doors to properties using the “latch slipping” method.
The burglaries took place on April 20. Those committed in Getxo were in the neighborhoods of Algorta and Neguri, and a third one in Plentzia. In these assaults, the burglars took advantage of the residents' absence from their homes. In one instance, they forced the door lock and removed the cylinder. In the other two cases, the doors showed no damage.
In all three cases, the homes were ransacked, with drawers and furniture doors open and disordered. The owners reported that mainly jewelry, money, and some electronic devices were missing.
The Ertzain-etxea of Getxo conducted an investigation to clarify these robberies. Following the relevant inquiries, agents were able to link the two women to the incidents. The arrested individuals will be brought before judicial authorities once the police proceedings are concluded. Furthermore, the Ertzaintza continues its investigation into the detainees regarding their possible involvement in other similar incidents.
