This Wednesday morning, two serious accidents have disrupted traffic on Bizkaia's main roads, particularly the AP-8 and A-8, leading to significant traffic jams and three injured individuals.

Early this morning, a car overturned on the AP-8, between Galdakao and Amorebieta, heading towards Bilbao. This incident led to the closure of two out of three lanes, causing traffic jams stretching for at least four kilometers. The Department of Security reported that road clearing operations are underway to fully reopen all lanes.
One person was injured in the Galdakao accident and has been evacuated to a local hospital. Concurrently, another collision occurred on the A-8, near La Peña, involving a car and a van. This second incident resulted in two injuries and created significant queues at the exits of the Bizkaia capital, specifically in Miribilla and Bolueta.
In addition to these two major accidents, minor traffic delays were also reported on the A-8 near Max Center, in Rontegi, on the Txorierri corridor, and at La Avanzada. These queues are typical during the morning rush hour on a weekday.
