Activists from the Basque delegation of the Global Sumud Flotilla arrived at Bilbao airport from Turkey around 2 PM, with moments of tension and incidents reported between those waiting for them and the Ertzaintza.

Sources from the Basque Department of Security reported that Ertzaintza officers intervened and conducted several identifications upon the activists' arrival, although no further details about the police action were provided.
Colleagues of the six activists from the Basque delegation had been at the Loiu airport facilities since 11:00 AM to welcome them.
Their return was initially scheduled for yesterday, but the trip was delayed due to two activists being hospitalized for "injuries" sustained after being captured by Israeli forces while en route to the Gaza Strip with humanitarian aid.
According to the Global Sumud Euskal Herria delegation, the two activists were hospitalized for "injuries resulting from the violence suffered during the kidnapping by Zionist repression forces".
