Dinamo from Santurtzi has mathematically secured its promotion to the Bizkaia División de Honor this morning, with five matchdays remaining in the league, following their victory in Galindo against Sestao River B.

The team from Santurtzi now holds a 16-point lead over Sestao River B, the third-placed team in the Regional Preferente, with only 15 points left to play for. Thus, the squad led by Omar Alonso returns to Bizkaia's highest category one year after suffering a bitter relegation to Preferente last season.
This season, Dinamo has dominated the league, losing only three of the 29 matches played so far. Furthermore, they have won thirteen of their fourteen home games, standing out as the highest-scoring team with 54 goals and the least-conceded, with only 15 goals against.

"The team has shown great superiority throughout the season, losing only three matches and winning almost all their home games."

At Galindo, where purple was the predominant color in the stands due to the presence of several hundred Santurtzi supporters, Dinamo secured the decisive three points for promotion. The solitary goal by Asier Goikoetxea in the seventh minute was enough to thwart Sestao River B's chances and allow the humble team from the San Juan neighborhood to make history again, four seasons after playing a preliminary Copa tie against Autol from La Rioja.
Now, Galdakao, currently in second place, the green-and-black reserve team, Arratia, and Mungia will compete for the remaining two promotion spots yet to be decided.
