The Bilbao City Council will open the registration period this Monday for courses at municipal sports centers, with activities scheduled for July and September, offering more than 2,072 places.

The registration period will remain open until June 1, with the draw for place allocation taking place on June 2. Water courses, including swimming, aquafitness, aquabike, and therapeutic swimming (the latter as a new addition), will be offered in July and September, providing a total of 2,072 places across 109 activities. Those interested in swimming learning courses must first accredit their skill level.
Regarding land activities, these have been programmed to meet user demand, balancing high-intensity courses with more passive ones. New offerings such as Pilates, yoga, GAP, and indoor cycling will be available at Azkuna Zentroa facilities. Additionally, 35 more courses and 394 places will be offered at the municipal sports centers of San Inazio, La Casilla, Zorrotza, and Txurdinaga. Among these, the paddle tennis courses at San Inazio, scheduled for June and September, are particularly noteworthy.
To register, interested individuals can use the Bilbao Kirolak website and app, or the totems and TPVs located at the municipal sports centers. Up to five course options can be selected, which can be different activities or the same activity at different times, including learning courses. The City Council has emphasized the "great importance" of establishing a preference or priority order for the chosen options.
