Portugalete is welcoming the summer through culture and music with the 'Portutardeo' event this Saturday in San Roque square.

The Portugalete City Council is launching the third edition of 'Portutardeo', an initiative driven by Euterpe and the music school of Erandio, aimed at welcoming the summer. Both entities have solidified an educational and artistic collaboration, establishing it as a stable offering in the cultural agenda of both municipalities.
The initiative originated with the goal of fostering coexistence, musical exchange, and student participation from both schools, having been held in previous editions at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen school in Portugalete and Erandio's Merkatu Zaharra, as well as the Santa Clara cultural center. This year, however, marks a novelty as music takes to the streets to bring it closer to citizens and make it a protagonist of the urban space.
Consequently, San Roque square will host a festive and participatory afternoon this Saturday, open to both residents and visitors. They can enjoy live performances in an atmosphere designed to welcome the summer through culture and music. The event will kick off at 7:30 PM with a diverse musical program suitable for all audiences.
