The band has been recognized with the SGAE Foundation's Euskadi award, which will allow them to perform a concert at the Campos Elíseos theater in Bilbao in October, as part of the Bilbao Beat festival. The second award consists of training sessions in production, marketing, and legal matters, which are very useful for emerging bands.
“"It has been incredible. Out of 116 bands, twelve made it to the final. That in itself was huge for us, and winning not one, but two awards, is tremendous."
To participate in this competition, a band member submitted a demo with three songs. After qualifying for the final, a four-person group was formed within a month to prepare for the live concert. The final performances took place at Biborock, and the Nehor band played on April 18.
The band members are very satisfied with the experience and the awards obtained. A member of the group already had previous musical experience, having released the extended work Gerraosteko irrintziak with the band Doce C. Currently, Nehor is composed of five members and they have two concerts scheduled for the summer, one of them in Oñati.
