Necol and Cruz, Innpala champion, to compete in Master Pro in Bilbao

The pelota players will make their debut this Friday at the Bizkaia fronton in Bilbao against Navarrese players Asier Martínez and Daniel Gil Olsen.

Pelota players Dan Necol and Dariel Cruz are set to begin their participation in the Master Pro tournament this Friday at the Bizkaia fronton in Bilbao, facing Navarrese opponents Asier Martínez and Daniel Gil Olsen starting at 7:00 PM.

Dariel Cruz, the individual champion of Innpala, and Dan Necol will kick off their involvement in the second day of the Master Pro. The opening match of the festival will feature Julen Urkijo and Baptiste Etcheverria against the Riojan twins Sergio and Jorge Gil.
The competition commenced last Friday with six pairings. Necol (St. Geours de Maremne, 1989) and Cruz (Havana, 2003) are considered among the favorites. In addition to the aforementioned Urkijo (Zalla, 2006)-Etcheverria (Oloron-Sainte-Marie, 2000), Martínez-Olsen (Iruñea, 2005), and the Gil brothers (San Cosme, 1998), another set of twins, Julien and Michel Moura (Monassut, 1999), will also compete, alongside the pair of Endika García (Larrabetzu, 2005) and Benoit Chatellier (Toulouse, 1992).
The tournament consists of an eight-round league, with matches taking place across Bilbao, Zierbena, and Zalla. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, June 6, and the final, for both men's and women's categories, will be held on Friday, June 12.
