The Leioa City Council reminds that families with children born between 2012 and 2026 can still collect their tupper to participate in the "Leioa has a treasure" initiative, celebrating the municipality's 500th anniversary.

Families can collect their tuppers at the Pinosolo Baserri (farmhouse) on Thursday, October 29th, morning and afternoon, and on Friday, October 30th, in the morning. The delivery of the prepared tuppers will take place on Saturday, October 31st, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The first tupper will be buried at 12:00 PM.
Throughout the morning, there will be animation activities and a participatory radio where families can record messages for those living in Leioa in 25 years. These recordings will be stored with the initiative's memories to be recovered in the future. Those unable to attend on Saturday can leave their tupper at Kultur Leioa the following week, until Friday, during the center's usual opening hours.
The initiative invites people to save memories of the present to be discovered in 25 years. Each tupper will be used to store photographs, drawings, messages, or other mementos that families wish to share with future generations.
