The Ipar Alde Abesbatza choir will extend the experience of choral music to Derio's hospitality establishments and streets in the coming months. Live music and a close, cheerful atmosphere will be offered alongside the popular pintxo-pote, strengthening the connection between culture and social life.
The choir will visit various venues in the municipality, performing its repertoire and sharing the music directly with the public. The aim is to take choral singing beyond traditional concert halls, transforming Derio's taverns and streets into musical meeting points.
The performances will take place on Thursdays: September 24th, October 8th and 22nd, November 12th and 26th, and December 17th. The initiative will also extend to taverns in the upper part of the town, broadening the offering across different areas of Derio.
These open-air performances, in direct contact with the public, will provide a unique opportunity to enjoy choral singing in a different way. Music, culture, and local social life will merge to create a special ambiance during the pintxo-pote afternoons.
The City Council invites residents and visitors to come to the participating establishments and enjoy the performances by the Ipar Alde choir.
