The establishment, located in the Campo Volantín area, announced its temporary closure for refurbishment on January 2. After three and a half months of work, the restaurant is ready to welcome back its customers, maintaining the quality and taste that define it.
“"January is a time for change. We are undergoing renovations and starting a new phase with a new team. Alberto and Maialen are taking over from Josean and Kontxi."
Despite the change in management, the restaurant's new owners have assured that the gastronomic proposal will not alter its essence. During the closure period, the kitchen team has been experimenting with new creations, some of which may be incorporated into the menu in the future.
“"The flavor, the product, and the respect for cooking are not to be touched."
Throughout its history, Bikandi Etxea has been a benchmark for traditional Basque cuisine in Bilbao, known for classic dishes such as cod pil-pil style, clams marinière, or snails Bizkaia style, prepared with care and dedication.
