This victory means the team will host the promotion final at Fadura against Alcalá, in what will be the decisive match for promotion to the top division.
Getxo established dominance early on, living up to their favorite status, which was reinforced by their leading positions in the regular season and the promotion group, having won all 22 of their previous matches. The home team showcased significant offensive efficiency with tries from Van Wyk and Iradi, complemented by two penalty kicks. Valencia managed to narrow the score before halftime, making it 18-7.

A try and conversion in the final play of the game secured the victory for Alcalá, leaving Universitario eliminated from the final.
