The festival will utilize three main spaces: Muxikebarri, the Estación de Las Arenas square, and the Ereaga beach parking lot. Ticketed concerts will take place at Muxikebarri at 8:00 PM, while free performances are scheduled for the Estación de Las Arenas square (1:00 PM and 6:00 PM) and the Ereaga parking lot (10:00 PM).
Ereaga will host two of this year's major events. On Friday, September 11th, Celtas Cortos, a leading folk-rock band, will perform as part of their anniversary tour. The following day, Saturday, September 12th, the Araba-based band En Tol Sarmiento will deliver their powerful live show.
The Muxikebarri program also boasts notable names. On September 12th, Portuguese fado singer Dulce Pontes will perform, following her successful appearance in Getxo in 2021.
To conclude the festival on September 13th, Muxikebarri will host the show “Xalbador, Urepeleko artzaina”. This project honors the great bertsolari Fernando Aire Etxart “Xalbador” on the 50th anniversary of his death, under the musical direction of composer Joxan Goikoetxea.
Additionally, Getxo Folk will feature street musicians. The free concerts in the Estación de Las Arenas square, held in the morning and afternoon, will offer a diverse program for all audiences, blending traditional music with various styles.
