During the Santakurtz festivals in Galdakao, several events and competitions have taken place. In the hamburger contest organized by Patakone, members from various groups participated, as did the sack race. The Güsak group won this race.
In the Kutxa Dorrea competition, organized by Eguzkibegi Ikastola, the Firu group emerged victorious by stacking the most boxes in height. Other participating groups included Sukuzu, Tolmotxetak, Akelarre, Dekantzekoz, and Ah Bittu.
Regarding the cultural offerings, the theater company Barsanti will present the street play ‘Kodizia Late Night’ on September 17th. Pako Revueltas from Galdakao is the director and will also perform.
Additionally, the Galdakao Gogora association has organized an excursion on September 26th to Miranda de Ebro to visit its historical concentration camp. Registration is open until September 24th.
