During the Galdakao festivals, Santakurtz, several events have been organized. The hamburger contest, organized by Patakona, saw teams prepare and taste normal and special hamburgers. GEURIA was present at this event.
In the Kutxa Dorrea competition, organized by Eguzkibegi Ikastola, the Firu team emerged victorious by stacking the most boxes. They ranked ahead of Sukuzu, Tolmotxetak, Akelarre, Dekantzekoz, and Ah Bittu.
In the sack race, the Güsak team secured the win. Antropayak, Trabukiak, Sukuzu, and Kamikatxe also received bonus points.
Additionally, the association Galdakao Gogora has organized an excursion for September 26th to Miranda de Ebro to visit its historical concentration camp. The trip will be by bus and costs 10 euros. Registration is open until September 24th.
Furthermore, the theater company Barsanti will present the street play ‘Kodizia Late Night’ on September 17th. Pako Revueltas from Galdakao will serve as director and actor in this production, which addresses themes of greed.
