The event will take place on September 24th, at 7:00 PM, in the Town Hall's fronton. Ormaetxea and Navarro will discuss traditions, celebrations, and community, as well as their role in a town's identity. The session will be held in Euskera.
The dantzaris will focus on these expressions of popular culture, exploring how long-standing customs and celebrations unite the community, their evolution over time, and their current significance.
Leioa's 500-year history will provide the context for the conversation, offering an opportunity to engage with these manifestations from the past and gain a deeper understanding of the municipality's history and present.
The session is part of the '500 years, infinite perspectives' program, an initiative aiming to bring Leioa's five centuries of history closer through various themes and viewpoints.
