This Thursday, April 23, a multi-vehicle accident created significant disruptions on the A-8 motorway, specifically near Arrigorriaga, in the direction of Galdakao. The incident led to approximately five kilometers of traffic congestion and left one individual injured.

The collision occurred at kilometer 113, necessitating the closure of one lane. This closure significantly slowed down vehicle movement. Traffic operators worked quickly to clear the roadway and restore normal conditions.

According to the Security Department of the Basque Government, the injured person was transported to Basurto Hospital. Initial reports suggest that the injuries are not serious. The affected lane was reopened to traffic at 9:10 AM, and the situation on the Biscayan road gradually returned to normal by 9:45 AM.
