Euskotren will boost its tram service in Bilbao on Saturday, September 19th, coinciding with the Athletic Club - Deportivo Alavés football match scheduled at the San Mamés stadium.

To facilitate travel to and from the game, the tram will operate on its regular schedule and will include a reinforcement service from Pio Baroja to Hospital, departing at 3:13 PM.
Before and after the match, partial service interruptions will occur between La Casilla and Euskalduna for approximately 45 minutes to ensure safety around San Mamés. These disruptions are part of the Municipal Emergency Plan coordinated by the Bilbao City Council.
To prevent overcrowding at stations near San Mamés, Euskotren advises passengers to head to the Euskalduna station for their return journeys by tram.
Additionally, using the Barik card is recommended as a payment method to streamline the boarding process.
