Jean Olharan will miss his first match of the Bilbao Iron Cup due to a knee injury. Young Gernika jai alai player Eñaut Astelarra will step in as his replacement, marking his professional debut.

Jean Olharan has withdrawn from his first match of the men's Bilbao Iron Cup, a scoring event for the Jai Alai League circuit, due to a blow to his left knee. This injury previously forced him out of the Cesta All Star final in Donibane Lohizune and the Getaria Challenge at Antxua Eguna.
Eraman! Jai Alai has selected the young Gernika player Eñaut Astelarra as Olharan's replacement. Astelarra was the second-best forward in the preliminary rounds, just behind Emeric Libois, and will make his professional debut this Friday in an ideal setting. The provincial player showed great form in the first match of the preliminary league alongside Jon Zabala.
Unai Lekerika will begin his participation in the championship this Friday at the Bilbao Sports Club, starting at 7:00 PM, as Astelarra's mentor. The Gernika duo will face Johan Sorozabal and Gorka Mugartegi Atain, who won their first match against Emeric Libois and Ion Ibarluzea.
The second match will see Eñaut Urreisti, in his capacity as Individual champion, team up with Thibault Basque – who defeated Aritz Erkiaga and Manci last Friday – against Alex Goitiandia and Gorka Sorozabal.
