Bilbao Metro extends summer operating hours

Continuous overnight service will be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and eve of holidays from June 5th to September 30th.

Bilbao Metro will extend its operating hours into the night on Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday eves from June 5th to September 30th to facilitate late-night travel.

The Bilbao metro system will introduce its summer operating schedule starting June 5th, a measure aimed at enhancing nighttime mobility for passengers, which will remain in effect until September 30th.
Specifically, metro services will run throughout the entire night on all Fridays and Saturdays. This extended service will also apply to the eves of public holidays. For instance, on Thursday, July 30th, the day before San Ignacio, a holiday in Bizkaia, this special overnight service will be available.
During the Aste Nagusia (Bilbao's Grand Week), the metro service will receive a significant reinforcement. From the start of the Bilbao festivities on August 22nd until their end on the 30th, trains will operate all night long.
