A renowned musician has confirmed the cancellation of his concert scheduled for Friday, May 15, at Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao, in a gesture of solidarity with the strike called by event and show technicians in Euskadi.

The artist, known for his strong leftist political convictions, had planned to present his latest album, Vidas semipreciosas, live. However, he has decided to support the strike to advocate for dignified working conditions for professionals in the sector.

"Without the work of sector professionals, it would be impossible to hold concerts."

The musician has expressed his solidarity with the professional sector of leisure and culture events, which, as he has denounced, has long suffered from “structural precariousness, difficulty in reconciling personal and work life, and the lack of a fair agreement” regarding their working conditions.
Apologizing for the inconvenience caused, the artist has announced that information regarding ticket refunds for the sold-out concert at Antzokia, as well as the new date for the recital, will be provided soon. In his social media communications, he reminded his followers of the importance of these professionals' work.
The musician's ninth work, Vidas semipreciosas, was released at the end of January, following the recent improved re-release of one of his key albums, Cajas de música difíciles de parar. This album includes several references to Euskadi, including a version of Laboa.
