The Renfe C3 commuter line, linking Bilbao and Orduña, has experienced a service interruption this morning due to an infrastructure issue in Arrigorriaga, with alternative transport options being implemented.

The Renfe C3 commuter line, which connects Bilbao with Orduña, has suffered a significant incident this Wednesday, April 29, since the early hours of the morning. According to the company, the train originating from Abando station and scheduled to depart at 07:04 AM did not provide service, nor did the one departing from Orduña to the Bizkaia capital at 07:01 AM.
The same sources detail that the service interruption is due to an infrastructure problem, specifically between the Ugao and Basauri stations, at the height of Arrigorriaga. Renfe has indicated that "a series of improvement works are being carried out on the track, but in the Arrigorriaga section there has been a problem with the delivery and occupation of the track".

"An alternative means of transport has been enabled between the Ugao and Bidebieta stations."

However, the latest communication from the Cercanías Bilbao WhatsApp channel warns users that the convoy "originating from Bilbao-Abando station and departing at 08:20 AM is not providing service," without specifying whether an alternative exists for travelers.
