Bilbao's private vehicle parking will face fewer restrictions from July 1 due to OTA service changes, while Bilbobus will also adapt its routes to fewer passengers.

Parking private vehicles in Bilbao will have fewer limitations starting July 1, as modifications are being made to the OTA service. Consequently, on Saturdays and Sundays throughout July and August, there will be no OTA service in any area. Additionally, there will be no service on July 31 (San Ignacio's Day) and August 28 (Bilbao's main festival day) due to public holidays.
During July, from Monday to Friday, the schedule will remain the same as the rest of the year. The reduction in paid parking hours will occur in August. Throughout that month, the residential area's operating hours will be from 09:00 to 13:30, while the intensive area will be operational from 09:00 to 14:00.
Changes in the habits of Bilbao residents during the summer months will be reflected in the new schedules for Bilbobus, which will commence on July 1. Several of the city's urban bus lines will undergo "slight adjustments" to adapt to the reduction in travelers. According to the City Council of Bilbao, frequency changes of five to ten minutes will be implemented, affecting the first and last services of the day on certain lines.
The new schedules, effective this Wednesday, can be consulted at Bilbobus bus stops, on the urban transport service's website, and at the BioBide Customer Service Office. They will also be available on the Bilbobus mobile application. The final resource for checking frequencies will be the Bilbao City Council's information telephone line.
Both the OTA service and Bilbobus will return to their usual schedules on Tuesday, September 1.
