A party on Mount Avril in Bilbao resulted in three arrests and three police officers sustaining minor injuries on Saturday morning, following an incident involving a wrongly parked van.

Around eight o'clock on Saturday morning, several people were still partying at the León picnic area, next to the restaurant of the same name. According to municipal sources, a patrol car was dispatched to remove a vehicle, a van, that was obstructing the passage of cleaning services. "There were several people in the area who were still in the parking lot after a celebration," municipal sources reported.
Sources from the Security department added, "These individuals confronted the officers regarding the aforementioned vehicle and ended up assaulting the police officers." The officers had to request backup, leading to three arrests for assaulting authority.

The arrests occurred amidst high tension, with officers calling for support and the detainees shouting for help and uttering insults. During the first arrest, a woman present in the area, attempting to assist a relative, briefly entered a police car.
After subduing the three individuals involved in the dispute, three officers were taken to a medical center with minor injuries, as reported by the City Council.
