Bilbao is launching Spain's first TUMO center at Azkuna Zentroa, providing a free, extracurricular educational space for students aged 12 to 18 to master creative technologies.

The facility has a capacity for 1,000 students and is supported by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the Bilbao City Council, and the la Caixa Foundation. The program integrates self-learning with hands-on workshops in fields such as robotics, filmmaking, programming, and graphic design.
Activities will kick off with intensive summer sessions on June 29, 2026, with the official academic year beginning on October 5. Starting in September 2027, the curriculum will expand to include 3D modeling and generative artificial intelligence.
