Navarrese power prevails in the pala corta Summer League, organized by Basquemotion. Dani Berrogui and Gonzalo Pérez Galbete achieve their second consecutive victory at the Municipal fronton of Lezama.

Dani Berrogui, replacing Iñigo Eslava, and Gonzalo Pérez Galbete are maintaining their momentum, securing their second consecutive win this Saturday at the Lezama Municipal Fronton. The venue experienced a good atmosphere despite the start time being adjusted due to the heat.
The pace set by Berrogui and Pérez Galbete overwhelmed the Argentinian pair Pablo Fusto and Emiliano Skufca, who were defeated in two sets with scores of 15-6 and 15-12.
In the second match of the event, Román Maldonado and Oier Alkorta defeated Esteban Gaubeka and Asier del Río in a close contest, with scores of 15-12 and 15-13.
Gaubeka and Del Río were close to forcing a tie-breaker in the second set, but the competitive spirit of Maldonado and the solid play of Alkorta ultimately decided the match.
Basquemotion features other notable pairs, including Eslava-Galbete, Madariaga-Insausti, Fusto-Skufca, and Imanol-Baeza in Group 1, and Gaubeka-Del Río, Maldonado-Alkorta, Zubiri-Ibai Pérez, and Mikel Sanz-Gordon in Group 2.
The Summer League will host seven regular season matches between June and July, with the semifinals and final scheduled for September 7th and 14th, respectively, at a venue yet to be confirmed. Following Gallarta and Lezama, Basquemotion will visit Sestao (June 29th), Iruñea (July 6th), Ispaster (July 11th), Plentzia (July 17th), and Azpeitia (July 25th).
The organizers, who thank the federative entities for their support, state that the format will be similar to the festival held at the Club Deportivo in Bilbao, which combined music, a speaker, and top-level pala. This league will serve as preparation for the World Championship in Argentina in October.
Furthermore, Basquemotion plans to organize a ProAm championship after the World Championship concludes in October. January is slated for the Individual Championship, followed by a contemplated Pairs Championship.
