The facilities of Galdakao's Santa Bárbara football field will open their doors to youth football on April 19. These sports facilities will serve as the venue for an open day organized by the Athletic Club School, aimed at boys and girls born between 2010 and 2019, with the goal of introducing them to the club's official methodology.
The activity, organized by Athletic Club in collaboration with the Galdakao City Council, will take place in a single session, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Participation in this event is free, but there are only 100 spots available. Therefore, prior registration is required through an online form. The registration period will remain open until 10:30 AM on April 13, or until all spots are filled. Admitted participants will be contacted directly.
The Athletic Club School offers the opportunity to train following the official methodology applied at Lezama. The Bilbao club's youth academy is an international benchmark in the training of footballers from the earliest ages. This model understands sport as an integral educational process, not just athletic, in which values such as effort, perseverance, and teamwork are fostered.
We encourage families to participate in this initiative that reinforces the commitment to grassroots sports and child development through a formative and playful experience in a reference environment.
The Galdakao City Council has encouraged residents to take part in this unique opportunity, emphasizing that the initiative strengthens the commitment to youth sports and child development, offering an educational and recreational experience in a leading environment.
