The Arrigorriaga City Council and the Altzoan Care Network have opened registration for the ‘Musika Familiarekin’ and ‘Musika Familiartean’ workshops. The former will offer sessions for children aged 0 to 2 on Wednesdays at 5:15 PM, and for those aged 3 to 5 at 6:15 PM. The latter aims to develop children's and adults' musical intelligence, taking place once a month on Sundays with ‘La Desafinada’, at 11:00 AM for children aged 0 to 3 and at 12:00 PM for those aged 3 to 6. Furthermore, interference with Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) caused by 4G and 5G networks will be resolved free of charge in Arrigorriaga. Due to mobile operators using the 700 and 800 MHz frequencies, DTT may experience interference. Affected citizens can call the free helpline 900 833 999 to report the issue. The Gure Magalean Parents' Association has opened registration for extracurricular activities until September 15th. For children aged four and five, offerings include English, ballet, modern dance, taekwondo, and cooperative games. For students in the first, second, and third grades, options include painting, English, ballet, climbing, batukada, modern dance, chess, sewing, Basque pelota, and multi-sport. Youngsters in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades can choose from painting, climbing, theater, batukada, modern dance, hip hop, chess, sewing, and multi-sport.
Additionally, the Arrigorriaga City Council has requested citizen cooperation to keep the streets free of rodents. Several recommendations have been issued: use bins and containers, deposit waste in sealed bags inside containers, put out bulky items on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM onwards, do not feed stray animals, keep plots and gardens clean, avoid water accumulation, and do not lift covers from patios or streets.
Moreover, the Arrigorriaga City Council and the Alkarbide platform have relaunched the Eskola Agenda program, distributing over 800 copies among children aged 6 to 11 in Primary Education. The aim is to facilitate students' personal organization and support daily communication in Basque between home and school. This year, Alkartxo returns as the agenda's character. Finally, the Arrigorriagako Arrigokorrika club has organized the first trail run of the season for September 20th. The route will be 10 kilometers long with a 400-meter positive elevation gain, passing through Gaztelu, Iruaretxeta Park, Brisketa, and Malmasin. The start will be at Mendikosolo Park in Arrigorriaga at 9:30 AM, followed by a lunch for participants. Arrigokorrika's running sessions will resume on September 15th.
