The Abanto-Zierbena City Council is giving a new boost to the communication channels it uses to inform the public, with a special focus on strengthening the WhatsApp service.

Through a brochure distributed to households in the municipality, the Abanto-Zierbena City Council aims to bring citizens closer to the communication methods it offers. Currently, the most widely used channel in the town is the municipal WhatsApp service.
Currently, over 2,500 residents receive information such as the weekend agenda, urgent notices, and the 'Abantarra Astero' bulletin. The WhatsApp channel has a total of ten broadcast lists. To sign up for this service, individuals can make a request at the Citizen Service Center (SAC) or via the municipal website.
The distributed brochure also includes other municipal communication avenues, such as the City Council's own website and its official social media accounts. All of these serve as tools for citizens to stay informed about events in their locality.
