The Basque Government has approved the 2026 call for the Elkarteak program, with a budget of 350,000 euros, to support the activities of professional associations and federations in the agricultural, food and forestry sectors.

The initiative aims to strengthen the role of these entities as key interlocutors and support tools for farmers, livestock breeders, and food and forestry companies. The funding will cover operating expenses, participation in trade fairs, training activities, and projects aimed at improving productivity and competitiveness.
The budget is divided into 250,000 euros for agricultural and primary forestry processing associations, and 100,000 euros for the food sector, with the possibility of increasing the allocation. Evaluation criteria include the entity's sector presence and the technical merit of the proposed projects.
Non-profit organizations operating in Euskadi are eligible to apply. The application period will be one month from the publication of the Order in the Official Gazette of the Basque Country.
