The Urretxu +65 Forum, guided by Diversity and Coexistence technician Oihana Merino, has organized a talk against racist rumors for April 23 at the Aizpuruenea cultural center.

The event will start at 5:00 PM and is titled “Talk against racist rumors: Dismantling prejudices and building coexistence”. Admission is free, and interested parties can get more information or clarify doubts by calling 693 900 568 or writing to gizarte@urretxu.eus.
The +65 Forum is a representative body for people over 65 years old, aiming to plan, execute, and monitor policies and activities designed to promote their well-being. This space allows for the discussion of citizens' opinions, needs, and reflections, offering the opportunity to debate and decide how one wishes to age in their own locality.
The main objective of the talk is to foster a more critical, informed, and committed society regarding equal treatment. Attendees will be provided with resources to identify and effectively act against hate speech and disinformation.

"The talk is designed to identify, question, and dismantle racist rumors and stereotypes that persist in our society and generate discrimination, exclusion, and inequality; through an open and participatory dialogue."
