The City Council of Zumárraga has clarified the confusion regarding bus stop locations, even though the works in Barrendain square are finished and the square is now open.

All bus lines heading towards Donostia will stop at the bus station located within the Renfe train station to pick up and drop off passengers. Conversely, buses bound for Madrid-Bilbao-Zumárraga-Bergara will use the bus stop situated at number 27 on Navarra Avenue.
This change, implemented alongside the Barrendain works, has divided the stops between two stations based on routes, aiming to 'reduce congestion and ensure a more efficient exit from the town center'.
Buses heading towards Madrid will be routed from Igartza Oleta, while those going to Donostia will be managed from Zaldizurreta.
