Zumarraga is on the eve of the Real Sociedad Copa del Rey final, and the txuri-urdin spirit is already palpable in the streets and bars. A wide display of Real Sociedad flags adorns the town in anticipation of the grand Copa del Rey final that the team will play against Atlético de Madrid this Saturday in Seville.
Zumarraga will be one of the towns hosting the fan zone and giant screen organized by the Department of Sports of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, with the collaboration of the City Council, to enjoy this historic moment. The City Council states that, under the idea of “if we cannot go to Seville, we bring Seville to Zumarraga, Euskadi Square will become throughout the afternoon and evening a meeting point, celebration, and support for Real Sociedad, with activities aimed at both children and adults.”
