This investigation follows the arrest last week in Lazkao of a Real Sociedad supporter who was driving the van that harassed and attempted to force off the road, according to images shared on social media, the vehicle bearing the Atlético crest. Now, the drivers of the other two vans involved in the incident have been identified.
According to the Civil Guard, the identified individuals are two residents of Beasain. After being identified by GIAT Badajoz and summoned by UOPJ Guipúzcoa, they “appeared at the police facilities of the Intxaurrondo barracks to give their statements, subsequently being released pending judicial disposition,” as detailed by the armed force.

Images of the incident show the vans boxing in the motorhome and performing “dangerous maneuvers” on the A-5. Witnesses to the event decided to call the Civil Guard to report the facts while recording the scene. The video’s author explained: “We were already scared stiff because they saw us recording, and we had to stop at a service road for them to pass.”
The proceedings were initiated by the GIAT of the Traffic Group of Badajoz (Traffic Investigation and Analysis Group) for an alleged crime under Article 381 of the Penal Code, which will be handled by the Court of Almendralejo.
