The sixth edition of the Transloratzen cycle, organized by the Ordizia City Council, starts this week with the aim of making visible the reality of the LGTBI+ community and promoting diversity.

As every spring for the past six years, the Ordizia City Council has organized the Udaberria Transloratzen, Ordizia Transformatzen cycle to raise awareness about the reality of the LGTBI+ community. To this end, various activities will be carried out in the coming weeks to highlight diversity and foster awareness against LGTBIfobia.
Most activities will take place in May, but the first one will be held this week. This Friday, April 17, the musical Eros eta Afroditaren aitortzak, by the Elur Etxea company, will be performed at the Herri Antzokia. Directed by Miren Gojenola, with actors Esti Curiel and Andoni Mutiloa, and musician Iñaki Santos on stage, this work addresses sexual diversity through two acquaintances from the same town. The songs have been specially created for this play by Iñaki and Andoni.
Tickets are available for purchase online through Kutxabank, or at the Herri Antzokia box office, for 12 euros. Additionally, this Wednesday they will offer a special performance aimed at ESO students.
The program will continue on May 6, when the Berdindu guidance service will be offered. This service will provide attention, information, and advice on sexual orientation and gender identity, aimed at both LGTBI+ individuals and their families and close circles. The service will be open, although prior appointments can also be requested by writing to berdindu.gipuzkoa@euskadi.eus or calling the telephone numbers 688 769 865 (WhatsApp) and 900 840 128.
Likewise, in May, the didactic exhibition Itsaspeko bihotzak by the Galtzagorri association will open, with sessions aimed at children and young people. There will also be an open session for families on May 14.
Furthermore, for another year, films from the Zinegoak film cycle will be screened. This international LGTBIQ+ film and performing arts festival, held in Bilbao, promotes sexual, identity, and gender diversity through cinema, combining awareness and culture. The screening for this cycle will be at the Herri Antzokia on May 7. Finally, on May 28, storyteller Ana Jaka will offer the oral narration ¿Soy una marimacho, y qué? at the Barrena Cultural Center, aimed at audiences aged 6 and above.
In parallel to the program open to all citizens, various workshops adapted to different age groups will be held in educational centers. Among others, there will be sessions on the visibility and experience of LGTBIQ+ realities with 1st year ESO students, as well as workshops to share the experiences of trans people with 3rd year ESO students.
