The 'Kirolzale Herri Olinpiadak' have been presented at Zumarraga's Zelai Arizti hall, with the second edition set to begin on May 30th and finals on July 1st.

The number of registered participants has significantly increased this year, rising from 187 last year to 309 registered participants. All spots were filled five days before the deadline, and the number of teams has also grown from 16 to 25.
This new edition introduces a major innovation: women will have their own championship. Recognizing that last year's compensatory measures were insufficient, a dedicated league for women has been established this year, and mixed teams will be accepted in the men's tournament with appropriate compensation. The aim is to ensure women have greater prominence and visibility in the final on July 1st in Zumarraga's main square.
Another key novelty concerns the final's events, which will be organized and detailed by the company Iota this year. The olympiad has been organized collaboratively ('auzolan'), with essential support from Beloki Kirol Elkartea, the basketball, volleyball, and indoor football sections of Goierri Kirol Elkartea, Adrian Ausin (swimming), and the Argixao Atleten Kluba.
This popular championship is a team-based competition. This year, 25 groups have signed up to participate: 20 in the men's championship and five in the women's. The winning teams will receive a 1,000 euro prize to spend at Zumarraga's shops, and various other prizes will be distributed among participants thanks to the support of sponsors. Each team will carry the name of a sponsor.
The first phase will take place from May 30th to June 21st, on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring five sports: indoor football, Basque pelota, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. The semifinals are scheduled for June 27th, and the top six teams (three women's and three men's), qualified through athletics events, will advance to the finals on July 1st.
