The festivities will commence on Thursday at 7:00 PM in Euskal Herria square, with the opening speech and chupinazo by the Goiz Deia txistulari group. Afterwards, the Doinuzar bagpipers and the parade of giants and big-heads will tour the town's streets. In the evening, the group Jonkass will perform in Euskal Herria square.
A full program of events is scheduled for Friday. In the morning, the 92nd edition of the classic Santikutz will begin, alongside a chess tournament, a bowling championship, and the finals of the children's pelota championship. At noon, music school groups and the children's corporation will hold a parade, followed by the ceremonial handover of the staff of office. In the afternoon, the finals of the popular pelota championship will be played, and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the fairground sounds will be muted for people with functional diversity. The children's tamborrada will depart from Laubide, and the group Deabru Beltzak will present the show Su talka. The day will conclude with a concert by the group Akerbeltz.
Saturday will start with a local livestock and craft fair in Kale Nagusia. The town's dulzaineros will perform street parades, and traditional rural games will take place in the square. At noon, the Santikutz choir will visit the town's neighborhoods, and Solkie-Gure Esku will sell roasted veal pintxos. In the afternoon, Zirika Zirkus will offer the show Azken Fakirra, and the parade of giants and big-heads will once again tour the streets. In the evening, the tamborrada will set off from various points, arriving at the square at midnight for the flag-raising and the playing of the town's anthem. The Joselontxos txaranga will liven up the central streets until the early hours.
Sunday will be the main day of the festivities. In the morning, txistularis and the bagpipers from Pamplona's Ezpelur group will perform. A procession and mass will be held, followed by the ezpata dantza and the presentation of the Olaria award to Judo Legazpi. In the afternoon, games inspired by Basque mythology will take place in Latxartegi park, and again, fairground sounds will be silenced for people with functional diversity from 5:00 PM. The traditional pelota festival will feature a manomanista championship match between Altuna III and Jaka. Ormazarreta Zalditegia will offer an equestrian exhibition, and the Legazpi music band will pay tribute to Queen with the collaboration of singer Jon Gurrutxaga and guitarist Patxi Zabaleta.
Additionally, a night bus service will be available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The bus will depart from Zumarraga station every hour, from 11:30 PM to 5:30 AM. The return bus to Zumarraga will leave from the Saturnino Telleria roundabout, every hour from midnight until 6:00 AM.
