The town of Lazkao is celebrating San Prudencio Day today with a wide range of activities that began early in the morning, including the revival of the traditional procession.

Since the morning, residents of Lazkao have participated in various activities to mark San Prudencio Day. The procession, which had been discontinued in recent years, has been reinstated, generating excitement among the townspeople.
Among the notable activities, members of the LAPKE pelota association have given an exhibition, and the trikitilaris from the Lazkao Txiki music school have provided entertainment with their performance. Additionally, municipal authorities have performed the annual traditional soka dantza, preserving local culture.
In addition to the official town hall program, two other txosnas (festival stands) in the town have also organized their own events. These include a tortilla competition held at 5:00 PM and a Kilometroak 'poteo' (bar crawl) organized in collaboration with the Lazkao Ikastola, scheduled for 7:00 PM.
Furthermore, the txosna of the Lazkao Socialist Movement has hosted a creators' market and a stand-up comedy session by Asier K and Manex Astigarraga, enriching the day's cultural offerings.
