The Igartza Musika cultural cycle, promoted by the Beasain City Council, will feature a concert by the group Esanezin this afternoon in Erauskin Square, as a free, open-air event.

The Igartza Musika cultural cycle, promoted by the Beasain City Council, continues to solidify its role as a leading musical initiative in the region after more than a decade of uninterrupted activity. Established to enrich the municipality's cultural offerings and bring quality music to citizens, the cycle has become a benchmark.
This time, Igartza Musika presents one of the most notable acts on the current scene: the performance by the group Esanezin, led by musician Ianire Aranzabe. The concert will take place today afternoon, starting at 8:00 PM in Erauskin Plaza, right in the town center, in a completely free and open-air format designed to make culture accessible to all audiences.
The choice of Erauskin Plaza as the venue reinforces the cycle's open character, transforming the public space into a cultural meeting point where residents and visitors can enjoy live music in an intimate setting.
Esanezin arrives in Beasain with its new album, 'Hormetan idazten', the third studio album from the project led by Ianire Aranzabe. This new work marks a step forward in the group's artistic evolution, consolidating an intimate and refined pop-folk style focused on sensitivity, emotion, and personal narrative.
The album was recorded in the summer of 2025 at the Mecca studios in Oiartzun, a recognized space within the Basque music scene. The production enhances a polished sound that complements the album's lyrics, which focus on the fragility of the human experience and the need for artistic expression.
The central concept of 'Hormetan idazten' revolves around the metaphor of walls as surfaces for inscribing thoughts, emotions, and memories. In the words of Ianire Aranzabe herself, «what is written on a wall is ephemeral, just like us», a reflection that permeates the entire work.
The album's songs address themes such as the search for love, emotional wounds, and the unexpected emergence of life changes. Among the highlights are 'Gure Zauria', performed with Sara Zozaya, and the single 'Kanturik Ez Bada'.
During the concert, Esanezin will present the compositions from this new work live, in a format that prioritizes closeness to the audience and the creation of an intimate atmosphere.
With this new event, Igartza Musika reaffirms its commitment to cultural dissemination and support for contemporary musical projects, maintaining its aim to bring quality proposals to the local area and consolidating Beasain as an active hub within the region's cultural map.
