Goierri fields to host 193 matches of the Donosti Cup

The football tournament's activity will be spread across facilities in five municipalities of the region this week.

The Donosti Cup football tournament is underway, with 193 matches scheduled to be played on fields across the Goierri region until Sunday, featuring nine local teams.

The competition began on Monday and spans several municipalities in Gipuzkoa. In the Goierri region, the matches will be distributed between Zumarraga, Beasain, Idiazabal, Lazkao, and Ordizia.
Regarding the facilities, the Arizkorreta field in Idiazabal will host 32 matches. In Beasain, the Igartza and Loinatz fields will hold 28 and 37 matches respectively. The Arizti Handi field in Lazkao will host 36 matches, the Altamira field in Ordizia another 36, and the Luis Urdangarin and Argixao fields in Zumarraga will host 12 matches each.
A total of nine teams from the region have registered for the tournament, including La Salle Zumarraga, Beasain KE, Ordizia KE, Idiazabal KE, Urola KE, Beasain IP, and Jakintza Ikastola. In total, 911 teams from various countries will compete across 16 different categories.
