The Goierri Valley association held its ordinary general assembly this morning in Ordizia, at the NBF building of the Goierri Innovation Hub. The meeting approved the activity report and financial statement for 2025, and new future projects were presented. The association stated that the gathering served to "reaffirm the economic strength of the alliance".
In recent years, Goierri Valley has developed various projects across different sectors and continued with existing ones. Among these, they have made the RLBO 360º tool available for companies wishing to reflect on their follow-up. They have also maintained an active presence at trade fairs, such as the +Industry fair, where the visibility of local SMEs was enhanced through joint participation.
The association's reach has also extended internationally. This year, they organized a "joint mission" to Argentina with other companies from the region, and have strengthened collaboration ties in Chile. Regarding diversification, they have supported two initiatives and launched a strategic reflection on the positioning of the Goierri Innovation Hub to attract startups.
Looking ahead to the 2026 management plan, Goierri Valley has presented four key projects. One of these involves establishing a company specializing in industrialized construction, following the completion of the feasibility plan and the definition of strategic partners.
A commitment to human capital has also been highlighted, bringing regional professionals closer to students through the 'Nor da nor' tool. Additionally, the Biltegilan project, developed in collaboration with Sutargi, aims to connect unemployed individuals with the industrial sector and promote job opportunities. The association will also initiate a process to define a new strategy to address future challenges.
