Emely Noemy Valladares, a Urola player, has been crowned the top scorer in the Honor Regional League, scoring 27 goals in 30 games.

Emely Noemy Valladares Castillo, a Urola player, has emerged as the top scorer in the Honor Regional League, with an impressive 27 goals in 30 matches. She entered the final matchday tied with Aroa Cernada Lopez from Elgoibar, but ultimately broke the tie by scoring five goals in that final game.
Valladares was born in 2003 in Langue, Honduras. She moved to the Basque Country at the age of 12 with her parents, seeking a better life. Although initially a little apprehensive about leaving friends and family behind, she adapted quickly. Learning Basque presented the biggest challenge, but she succeeded, though she still finds speaking it somewhat difficult.
After studying administration and finance, she now works at Laboral Kutxa in Arrasate. Her favorable work schedule allows her to balance her job with Urola's training sessions, dedicating time to her primary passion: football.
Football has always been her favorite sport. Upon arriving in Honduras, her father suggested she play for Urola, and she readily accepted. She started in the youth categories and has now been with the first team for seven seasons. This year, she has broken her personal records, becoming the league's leading scorer.
Valladares expresses great satisfaction with the team spirit at Urola and her relationships with her teammates, which led her to decline an offer from Tolosa, a team playing in the Third Division. 'I feel like part of the team and believe I can contribute,' she stated.
She describes herself as a fast forward, and although she acknowledges the need to improve her finishing, she intends to continue playing football, particularly with Urola. She emphasizes that football serves as an outlet for her to disconnect, have fun, and, importantly, make many friends.
