Legazpi's Peace Court has opened a new location in municipal premises on Saturnino Telleria street, aiming to improve accessibility and services for residents.

The Peace Court of Legazpi has moved from the ground floor of the town hall to municipal premises located at Saturnino Telleria street. The service will be open from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 14:00, retaining the same phone number and email address.
Municipal representatives have stated that the relocation aims to improve accessibility and public attention, maintaining the proximity of this essential service for citizens.
The Peace Court offers various services, including procedures related to the Civil Registry such as birth, marriage, and death registrations, as well as issuing official certificates. It also manages conciliation hearings and minor judicial proceedings.
Patxi Otaegi has served as the peace judge of Legazpi since 2005, with his term being renewed last October.
Furthermore, several court procedures can be completed online, such as requesting birth, marriage, or death certificates through the municipal website, with the option to receive them by mail or collect them at the office.
