As part of the monthly lecture series organized by EH Bildu of Urretxu and Zumarraga, a session dedicated to the global geopolitical situation will take place this afternoon. The event will be held at Bilgunea at 7:00 PM, under the title “The world is on fire and we are a denied (small) nation.”
The lecture will address the complex current geopolitical context, including conflicts such as the invasion of Ukraine, the genocide in Gaza, and the attack against Iran. These topics will be presented by a coordinator from EH Bildu's international policy and relations team.
“"This lecture will analyze the geopolitical situation we are experiencing. In addition, it will reflect on how Euskal Herria positions itself as a nation in all of this and what consequences these wars are having in our country."
Furthermore, the session will explore the position of Euskal Herria and the local repercussions of these wars. A councilor from Urretxu will participate in facilitating the event, guiding the debate and encouraging participation.
