The duo of Aingeru Senperena and Beñat Lizaso, competing in the physical disability category, secured their first joint title against Lasa and Edorta de Anta with a score of 21-25. It was a tough and hard-fought match, showcasing high-level play from both pairs.

In the opening match of the day, Unai Dios and Daniel Calviño, in the intellectual disability initiation category, demonstrated overwhelming superiority against García-Fernández, winning decisively with a score of 20-5. Their dominance was evident from the outset.
This competition is endorsed by the International Basque Pelota Federation (FIPV), and organizers hope to arrange a champions' meeting in the future, although this initiative is not yet finalized. The growth of adapted pelota has been exponential, according to Iker Amarika, one of the project's leading figures, who notes that since the creation of the first Gipuzkoa Open in 2018, the discipline has gained momentum to become what he describes as a “historic” circuit.
